Spiny Mouse Weirdness - What is this?
Do not open this photo unless you have a strong stomach.
This is an older female Spiny mouse who had a litter many months before and has been acting and behaving totally normally for almost as long.
This oddity has been around for about as long, I think. No other female Spiny looks like this.
If you have no idea what this is don't please bother posting.

Uterine prolapse? I have no idea. I know nothing about mice so that's just a guess.

Yea. Maybe a thought. But she has been and is fine. So it looks bad but she is OK.
She has been around no males for months, except one little juvie already moved out.

Banal comments such as that are why I almost never post health issues.

You know what? You do not need to be saucy!Jeez, anyone who loves their pets and can see something like this...which obviously looks painful will seek out vet help as it doesn't matter what advice people give you, the best advice that you will recieve is from your vet...
And I will post wherever I feel...do not get saucy with me again or I will complain to the mods. This is supposed to be a friendly place for animal lovers.

The picture doesn't show up. I had a mouse when I was younger that got prolapse, and Vanilla Rat is right, we dont have the means to diagnose

Zouave; I think if you post in a public forum, you need to be sensitive to the replies you get, if it bothers you that much maybe you need to send private messages to only the people you deem worthy!
