Timmy and Peter (its final now lol) playdate pics
I took the advice of others and used an immobile food to help them bond. these pics are of a breadcrust and some muffin.....it worked okay, but i used the milk later on (no pics sorry) and it worked muuuuch better. as of right now they'v ebeen in peter's cage an hour or two, and only 2 squabbles. they even playfought and kept it in check. i have them each treats that they ate....onseparate sides of the cage lol. Timmy spends a good chunk of time just dying to groom something, so eventually he annoys peter, they have a standoff, then one walks away lol. i would leave them stuck in there together if they were fighting, believe you me this is nothign like the other day. now they actually are taking turns going into the foodbowl, letting each other use the litterbox (i can't blieve it, i swear by this now, any rat can be litter trained) so! enjoy the pics! there's one of timmy climbing up my leg, he didn't like me ignoring him lol

lol thanks they pretty much litter trained themselves. i find it amazing too. when i got each of them, they'd started out in a small cage with a big tupperware camping dishpan with litter, and some clothing pieces and bed stuff on the rest of the floor. every day i go through the cage adn empty all poos into the litterbin. timmy uised to watch me scoop, carry, drop, he's SO smart, my timmy hehehe. little peter, well i dunno how he managed it, but he figured it out too. he pees in his bedding, so i just put that in the litterbin also. he's got the poos down, he does them all in the bin.

Thats sooo cute, mine do all their business in one corner of their cage, I wonder if I could put a litter pan there.

They are so cute. I love the picture of Timmy scaling your leg. I hope they get along when you start housing them together! I'm sure they will after some little squabbles.
