Very Relaxed Rat(pics)
This guy has recently become so incredibly relaxed and comfortable with people. He even sleeps on his back now, so I just had to snap a shot:
The rat on the left in this shot is the one who was degloved in Petco, and on the right is his buddy I obtained along with him:
Agouti Female:
And that's all for now

degloved: someone picked him up by his tail and the skin on the tail rips off leaving the bone... so it has to be amputated
My new rat izzy sleeps on her back and it scared me! i came in the room and here she was under the ladder with her little legs stuck up and her mouth partly open... sleeping... kinda snoring

Ah yes, there's a thread I posted a couple of months ago called "Horrible Petco Experience" or something like that in which I relayed the story of how I got that rat and his friend. Kendalle explained degloving nicely.

I think their corporate/central management has good intentions(maybeeee), but the employees and management they hire for individual stores varies so much, and they just don't live up to the standards and quality of care that is promised. To have employees that cringe at the sight of some of the animals they sell(lizards, mice, rats) is a pretty bad sign...
