i make treat thingies for my chinnies occassionally and i made ths recipe up
what you need
ice cream sticks(safe to chew as far as i know)
molasses
things you want to put on the sticks ie seeds, nuts

put a thin layer of molasses on the stick(makes it sticky) and roll the stick in the seeds/nuts or whatever. this should give you a stick covered in te topping.
place them on baking paper and into a hot oven hot enough to bake the topping onto the stick but not enough to burn down the house.
it doesn't take too long to bake and let them cool before serving them.
you can use any sort of chew safe wood and toppings
i also use nutragel(a vitamin concentrate) instead of molasses
