I think my rat is pregnant.
I don't know what to give her to eat, how to arrange her living conditions, whether to take her out or not, or signs that she is truely pregnant. She is heavier than the male rat if that means anything (they are the same age). Here are some pictures of her belly if anyone can tell:

Thanks

Awww, what a cute rat. However she don't look pregnant...yet.One of my girls Sprite is a little fatty and has a bigger belly and is certainly not pregnant.

Do you have your male and female together?? If you do, you will probably end up with a pregnant rat...

Not only that, that rat looks very young... too young to be pregnant (not that she can't, she shouldn't). If you do have them together to breed on purpose, I suggest you separate till she's a bit bigger, and read up on breeding before deciding to try breeding them.

Here is some info on pregnant rats:

haha I have a star on my arm too but it's black.

Yea give her some extra protein, and seperate her from the male if she's pregnant. Sometimes she doesn't show until the last few days. You can count 3 weeks from the day that you think she got pregnant and you shold be expecting babies then.

weigh her, then weigh her again in a few days, and so on and so forth. i weigh all my mice and rats anyway, just to know if theres anything wrong when they suddenly put on or lose weight. its the best way to know if theyre preggers, too..
