New cage !

I got a great cage today ! And they still had the Xmas price on it so i got it for 60$ off !! I was gonna buy another one .. that was 80$ more expensive .. but it was only like 3inches bigger ! So happy lol

Brought it home and set it up .. my little girls are pinging around everywhere !! There is so much more room for them to climb etc !

Ill have to post some pics after i can get my OH to Resize them =)

ya i did ! its cute too .. its really a bird cage ... but its a good size .. not too big not too small .. I didnt want this enormus thing taking up space in my living room .. I have too much clutter as it is .. I made a ledge. and i made 2 corner hammocks and one hammock that half the size of the cage .. to prevent falling .. i also made a snuggle bag for them ( i had to sew that) its basically a jeans leg on the outside .. surrounding a 2lt Pepsi bottle ( cut at the the wide part) so that it keeps its bag shape .. and i have sewed fleece as an inside lining .. they like it all so far !

i cant beleive tho that everywhere i went .. didnt have any Aspen !!!

And Petcetera doesnt even sell it ! So i got some carefresh to try !

I read the package .. it seems safe enough. Any thoughts ?

It seems the city is all out of aspen,because I went to get some the other day and they were all out everywhere.
Normally you can get good size bags of it at Wal-Mart.

Carefresh is a safe bedding.Some people fine it too dusty.I used to use it,until one of my rats developed an allergy to it.Since then I stopped using it.

Great cage setup! It's cool that you got it so cheap. I have that wooden thing on the bottom too, it's pretty fun for them to climb on and chew.
