yesturday was like the worst day ever:'(
well yesturday was the worst day ever.
i woke up to find my little baby harmony dead on the floor. untouched by the cats. we think that she got out of the cage and wanted to explore but got a fright.:'(
thats not all....
we found that one of my other babies, rosie, made something stuck in her ear and we couldnt get it out so off to the vet we go.
but when we are about to leave to go i check on all my babies and we find eward the rat on the floor of his cage not moving.
he was still alive but dying. so we rushed him of to the vets with us to.
sadly he was put down yesterday. he had some sort of degenerative disease.
we have never ever had any problems with our aniamls that has been vet worthy and now we have had the whole thing with miss chloe-may.
dezmond getting mites.
and then yesturday.
i feel like i have failed them all like i am the worst mother ever.
RIP little HARMONY FRIGGIN' AWESOME
RIP little EDWARD D WOOD. JR
you were both was to young to be taken and im sorry.
you will never be forgotten

Im sorry that that happened. Dont feel bad cuz tos not your fualt, God just missed them and wanted them to come home again.  When my critters pass on, I think of it as an oppertunity to rescue another animal in need. I hope your heart heels soon... Maybe this will help?

thanks for your kind words. it really means alot. i still feel that it is my fault. i just wish that i could of helped them they were both so young. harmony at only 1 month old approx.
and edward was only 8 months old.
both way to young.

I am sorry for your loss it isn't your fault. I have had a few babies die for unknown reasons and it is hard not to blame yourself because they are in your care. Maybe since the mouse was so young she was a peanut?. I hope you feel better.

You are by no means a bad mommy! and you haven't failed them. Some people wouldn't have even taken them to the vet! I believe you are a fantastic mommy. They were loved you can tell.
