It looks like your spray-painted the top of his head to give him a little toupee, though!

Rowan! That's likely the TOV patterning that you see there. I'm 90% sure he has that gene from his mom. She's a TOV beige. If you search for Praline, you'll see the dark color on her face and down her back - that's the Touch of Velvet gene which creates that pattern.

Poor bald chinnies feel naked without it.

And know I finally know what TOV means!

I've always been wondering about it.

Chinnie colour genetics are pretty interesting.
