Actual Teddy Bear to be raffled at the ECBC National Show - March 2, 3, 4
Hendrika Cegielski - Custom Furrier located in Crawford Colorado
has completed the teddy bear for the ECBC Teddy Bear Raffle.
Many thanks to Hendrika for creating such a beautiful teddy bear.
Retail the bear is worth between $1200.00 and $1600.00.
Hendrika did a wonderful job. This full sized teddy bear is 18 inches tall and IS JOINTED.
The fur and quality are so nice words hardly do it justice.
I guess a picture is worth a thousand words:
I hugged the bear yesterday. It is so very big, soft and beautiful I did not want to let it go.
Bob Merritt had to forcibly remove the bear from my arms.
Don't worry the bear is fine but I'm not sure I can say the same about my arms! - just kidding Bob!
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the following web site: Purchase Tickets

Sorry,i'm having computer probs. I just scrolled thru everything fast.
I like the style of bear, but when I saw fur...I was wondering "real fur" or "faux fur?" If its faux fur I'll consider purchasing a ticket if I can But if it's real...then I can't.

real fur? interesting. what animal is the fur from? rabbit? candyraver i hear ya, real fur kills my allergies/asthma. I had a rabbit pelt when i was 6 or 7 years old (not my idea) on my night table with my lamp on it. after asthma and pneumonia, the docs said it should go. i was fine after it left. wierd!
The bear is gorgeous no matter the fur. I haven't the money to participate, but i send my love, hopes and wishes!

This is in the chinchilla section - probably chinchilla fur.
ECBC is a breeding organization that includes both hobby breeders and ranchers who produce pelts.

Yes,Jade... that would make sense I was having an "off day." & Thanks for mentioning it was a rancher place who produced pelts too,I thought they just bred chinchillas for pets.Learns something new everyday
& Mulder,I understand about the allergies.I send my best as well,altho I can't participate.

I'm sorry if the pictures offended anyone.
I thought they were worthy of posting again.
The teddy bear is very beautiful.
It's possible that some folks are interested in the raffle.
