BABY Standard!
Well, I got a call at work today from my boyfriend telling me our Hailey had a baby! It is a baby boy about 50 oz and too cute! No name yet, so all suggestions are welcome. He is a bit of a trouble maker already. Mom is great, she is eating and running around looking for dad, who is out on his own until further notice. He might not be happy, but I almost cried when I went in and he was asleep on the floor next to the cage..! Priceless. Anyway, pics are attached and please give me some names!!!
The first one is baby and the others are baby and mom or baby on the run!

Congrats! I'm assuming you mean 50 grams not ounces. If he was 50 ounces, he'd be over 3 pounds. I would take the cloth out of the cage since it's not needed and mom might try to chew on it. Also, if that is the cage that both Mom and baby are in, then he'll escape. The bar spacing is too big. You need a cage with spacing no bigger than 1/2 inch by 1 inch.

Yea, sorry it is grams! They are being put into a new cage with small bars. And the towel is out. It was a temp thing...while I was checking to make sure she was producing milk.  |

I was trying to think of H names.. since im guessing the Hailey is the mom and Henry is the dad.. The only thing i could come up with was Harley  i think it would be a cute chinny name, especially since you said hes a bit of a trouble maker already or else Hairy maybe?

He has a name! We came up with Squirt the other day when we took him out. And we are calling him Lil' **** when he gets all chinlike and out of control! I wanted to keep with the H's...but we love Squirt and it fits him so well. He was doing laps the other day around the cage...He is priceless!!!
