Calcium Sticks

Does anyone use the Calcium sticks by Vitakraft ?

I bought a box today for Noelle... they are not something I would normally feed my chinnies.

I stick with cuttlebone as my calcium supplement. The chinnies go nuts over it and it's basically pure calcium without added sweets, seeds, etc.

I recently bought some for the chins just to try them, but they have a lot of seeds in them, so I won't be making it a habit of buying them (they seemed to ike chewing the wood underneath the seeds better though LOL)

I have used them on several occassions but found they do carry too many seeds.
I do use the cuttle bones which mine do seem to like better.

Cool

I bought some Calcium Balls from Cedarview for Cam and he just loved them. I've given one to one of the birds and he thinks it's a toy (but it's Pip so the ball is almost as big as he is!). The balls are bright colors; haven't seen any seeds in them and Cam could go through the majority of one in no time.

I give both calcium sticks and cuttle bone. Calcium sticks are few and far between though. They love the cuttle bone because its a "softer" chew as I like to call it and they can destroy it quite easily and quickly.

I bought those calcium balls (actually called hamsteroids) too, but after talking to quite a few people decided that they were best if given to the hamsters not the chinnies. It says 100% calcium but not what kind of calcium?
