What would you do if you had a customer that was to buy a chinchilla from you and one from another breeder in your area, that customer was to visit the other breeder first and you the next day, then emails you after being at the other breeders saying I found a breeder that has better chinchillas then you do?(knowing that breeders chins and your own came from the same place) There has never been a problem between you and this other breeder (have gotten chins from one another several times)
Would you think that this other breeder had bad-mouthed you?
I wouldn't assume the breeder had badmouthed me. What I would do is reply and inform them that you and that breeder both get your chins from the same place and kindly ask what leads them to believe the other breeders chins are better.

But if you talk to the buyers and they confirm your suspicions, then I'm not sure what to tell you. It's sad in the chinchilla world that people can be so cruel. Just don't stoop to their level - in the end the best person always wins out and the bad guys get what's coming to them!

It's very low of them to do that. In my opinion they are trying to make you look bad so theirs look better. That must mean something is not so good with their chins if they have to bad mouth someone to make them look better. Sorta confusing...
I agree with Christi too.You know and we all know you have great chins and that is truly all that matters.I am very proud of the one I got.He is my Madison little boy.
