Question

good thing or a bad thing...

Hello everyone, I just brushed my 8 month old chin today and an unusual amount of fur came out. I know that they release fur when scared, but I comb her out once or twice every other week she seems to enjoy it and never gives me any problems about it. Do they naturally shed like cats and dogs? or is this something I need to be concerned about? The comb I use is small and plastic.
Any help is appreciated!

She might just be shedding her summer coat in time for her thick winter one to come in. I know that my degus were shedding a few weeks ago, maybe its about that time for chins

ahhh ok, I was wondering if they did, but if your chin is shedding (or has shedded) then it must be that time. All I know is that there was alot of fur that I combed out!
