Just have to brag a little

Ok. I love my chinnies soooooo much! I just had to brag a little on them cause they are so well behaved!
One of my friends just left my house. I hadn't seen her in months and she wanted to see my chins. I let her pet Skeeter (of course I got the usual "he's so soft!" reaction) while I held him. He's just so good! He even let her pick him up and hold him for a good little bit! She kept asking if he'd bite her. I assured her that he wouldn't (and crossed my fingers) and bless his little heart he didn't even look scared or like he wanted down!
A couple of weeks ago my mom and dad brought my soon-to-be-2-yrs-old little cousin over to see the chins. His house has no pets, so he was thrilled to death to get to see my chinnies. The smile on his face was HUGE. I wish I had taken pictures. Anyway, his older sister who's 14 held Skeeter while he petted him. He loved him so much that he actually gave him kisses! I think he may have not realized he was actually a real animal and not stuffed, he he. Skeeter again was super good and didn't try to back away or anything!

I just love my chins so much and hadn't gushed over them to anyone lately, so I thought I'd gush to anyone on here who would listen! Non-pet people listen to me to entertain me but I wanted to brag to some people who would get it!!

That is so cute, its nice that your pets are so well behaved.. Sometimes when I am out with friends, they must think I am mad, when I start talking about my Bunnies and Degus, and what they get up to!

People at work think I'm insane when I gush about my chinchillas.

I can't help it. I love them so much. What's not to gush about?? I wish mine were as well behaved as yours!

I have a cute story to tell.

Super Pet has some "critter carrots" out now. I guess they have calcium in them. Well, I gave some to the chillas who have had tooth problems, and the rest to whoever I felt like it (the others got chew toys, too). Well, one of them went to Monkey, who is a homo beige. I came in the room this morning and he looked like a pumpkin or a child who had stuff smeared all over his face and chest. There was orange by his nose and on his chin, and there was orange on his chest. Poor baby! I left the dust bath in his house the entire day!

Wow, I wish all my chins were that well behaved!! Some are but then I have the evil Sammy who bares her teeth and hisses at me if I go to touch her baby...(God I pray she takes after her father's personality!)
