Mike's family
Perhaps this would be better in the chit-cat area, but I rarely leave the chinnies area and want to reach as many chin owners as possible.
Yesterday, I met Mandie (Chinchilla_Girl) for the first time. It turns out we don't live more than a couple miles from each other. Anyway, we have been talking for a while about how we both have members of Mike's family and how many people we know who also do.
So how do you know if you are a member of Mike's family? First off, Mike is a chinchilla who Sassy currently owns. Many eons ago, I owned him in Lousiana and kept one of his sons (Max) who later gave me a grandson (Muad'dib). In his first litter, Mike and Alice had a son and two daughters Karma and Kinjin, who for a time lived in FL and then migrated to new homes. Karma is also now with Sassy. Kinjin and her boyfriend Fivel have had many kits, but the most productive of them has been Audi, who is now with Jade. And it is from Audi that Chinchilla_Girl get her two Mike's family members, Kir and Mercedes.
So question #1, do you have a member of Mike's family? And, of course, how? (It's like 7 degrees of separation.) Some of you may have some of Mike's other kids (there's about 15 of them running around). Some of you may have one of Karma and Kinjin's many little ones. And I hear Audi has been busy too.
The other thing we thought would be neat is to make bumper stickers, because we are proud to be members of Mike's family. Maybe a slogen, "Proud member of Mike's family!" with a picture. When I was in Lousiana, Mike Foster was running for governor, and I tried unsuccessfully to get an "I like Mike" bumpersticker.
Maybe we are just being silly, but question #2, would anyone else be interested in family pride bumper stickers?
And, of course, what do you think Sassy? After all, he your chinchilla now.
