Talisman Saga Comes to a Close
The Talisman saga is now coming to it's close. I'm VERY happy to report, that for the past two days now, his poos have been completely normal!! They are everything a normal 6 1/2 week old chin poos are supposed to be! We are down to 2 feedings of formula mixed with crushed pellets per day and the rest of the time he's eating pellets and hay consistantly.
It's been a crazy past 3 weeks, but we made it through with flying colors. He's a wonderful little boy who is so people tame that he even trusts the dogs!! This afternoon, I had him on my lap and Kali decided she wanted to check him out. Since he is no longer covered in diarreah, I let her (while he was still in my lap of course) Well, she was quite interested in sniffing him, and kept trying to lick him  He was not concerned in the least. In fact, this little bugger decided to use that opportunity to find higher ground...how did he do this you may ask? He climbed right onto her nose, up her muzzle and sat on her head!  She didn't know what to think! Every time she's gotten too close to a chin cage, she got her nose bit, so a chin on her head was something she was a bit concerned with. She stayed super still and tried to look at him crosseyed! She was a good girl though. He was only on her head for a few seconds, so I unfortunely didn't get a pic, but you can imagine how cute it would be, to see a 6 week old chinnie perched on the head of an evil, vicious, pitbull!

Thats awesome! Its too bad you couldnt get a pic...that one should have been posted on a billboard to show Pits are sweet dogs!
