Violet males in Illinois
So, I was on another forum where I saw that someone in IL had two violet males up for sale. Fifty dollars each. To me that's an excellent price.
I know a lot of people won't buy fur chewers, but I have a fur chewer so I know what I'd be dealing with. Plus, I love them no matter what they look like.
My thing is, how can I absolutely convice Dan to let me buy them. Like I said, fifty dollars each is a great deal. I would like to buy both, but only if they are brothers and live together already.
Any suggestions? I know I've asked this before, but I think he'd actually say yes this time.

Well to get him to say yes, tell him that you won't ask for any more animals, for quite some time ( just make sure you have your fingers crossed when you tell him this,)

Just tell him that if you don;t take them, some moron who will want to breed them will. And he wouldn't want to be the man that let that happen, now would he?

Find the weak spot and use it! Either get something for him or take something away until he sees the error of his ways and agrees.

Yeah, so Dan said no again.
I am so off right now.
I wonder if there's a nice bone in his body. I'm guessing not.

Yeah, I'm thinking so.
Two can play this game. I'm more than willing to take care of more chinchillas, but he claims that it's more stuff for me to do, and he thinks that he doesn't take good enough care of the chillas and such. I do most of the work anyways. He's too busy worrying about fantasy football and all his piddly crap. More to come in the rant section.

I hardly ever ask hubby if I can get a chinchilla but when I do he usually says yes. I say just go get them, you cant take them back after you have them.

If I did that, quite honestly he'd be completely angry with me. He was angry the entire day after I did that with Stormy.
It's ok now. I've learned to not ask for anything anymore.
