Who made the first BD?

Do any of you know, who made the first Blue Diamond?

They say that they "made" the BD, but they also say that it's a mix of recessive beige, the german violet and the violet.

It sounds a bid weird to me, that almost everybody you ask, says that BD is violet and saphire, but they call these animals Violet Saphire, and say they are not BD's.

I know for a fact, that Santiago often don't have a clue as to what's in their animals, and the buyers get the pedigrees to prove it.

But back to the original question:
Do any of you know who "made" the first BD, and what genes give a BD?

I have never looked in blue diamonds. Sapphires by themselves need massive improvement why mix with violets, most of those also need improvement.

We actually have a lot of BD breeding over here. But that's a whole other discussion
The reason I ask, is because a friend I have, is trying to find out where the different mutations orinated. You could argue the BD isen't really a new mutation, but it's still nice to know
So I'm just asking around, hoping someone knows something about the BD.
