I adopted another ferret last week that came from a really bad situation. I just can't believe the resillience of animals. Elliot was rescued from a home that had him in basically a hamster cage, and after the honeymoon phase was never let out. He could barely walk and had sores all over his back from rubbing on the bars. It turns out after I got him that he is also deaf although you would never know it lol. He is now all better and tearing up my frontroom as we type lol. He is just an awesome boy. A little heavy with the biting but that is because he can't hear you say ouch , so we are working on this. This is elliot.

Lol, will do akasha and thank you , he is a doll. If you come over shoes are a must lol. One ferret is not too bad two carpet sharks and you will be going home missing a digit lol.

They are very cute, I feel bad for elliot, poeple never properly research their pets. I hate that.

Thanks everyone , he is just awesome. There is definitely something special about a rescue / shelter pet .. Comet who has been spoilt since the day he was born is not near and companionable as Elliot ..He is always checking on me to see were it am . Trys to share all my meals ....what a begger. He came from such a horrible background but still has the room in his heart to love another human , amazing. We could learn tolerance and forgiveness from our animal friends lol.
