i've just noticed the little bump above bonnie's eye, anyone have an idea what it could be? so i know what to brace myself for at the vet

unfortunately, you're correct. ferrets are illegal in cali, for completely bonehead reasons! but, there are petitions out on the internet for people like you (an animal lover) to help do your part to correct this stupid problem. just go to ask.com if you would like to help out

Beautiful ferrets you have there! I would, however, suggest trimming their nails. Not doing so could get them into a world of problems. Cutting about a cm above where the red blood vessel ends in their claws is good. Sorry to ruin the mood and all, hahaha.

I have no idea, but let us know what the vet says. Ferrets commonly get mast cell tumors- you can do a google search on them, but I am not sure what they look like. Somehow I thought mast cell tumors were darker, though.
