Getting two ferrets...

Hello all, this is my first post here so please be kind lol. My girlfriend and i are each getting a ferret, both of which will be male. Would it be better to get both at the same time (presumably they would be from the same litter) or should we get one, let it adjust to the new surroundings, and then get the other?

Ferrets are very active and social so siblings would be best or ferrets of the same age
