Thanks for posting that Sassy!
I wouldn't have thought of a few of those.

I wanted to to add a couple:

* They love towels and blankets and tunnel through them!

* If you happen to have a bean bag chair , they like these too.
spray bottles in the summer, they have fun when you spray them (on the spray not the stream.)

* plastic grocery bags are another favorite (or paper bags even)

* fill a plastic tote or empty box with shredded paper (not newspaper mind you) {I shred my old bills with a paper shredder and use that, they love burying themselves in it)

I'll add more as I think of them

Some other good toys for them are:

soda boxes
newspaper plastic wrap (with the ends cut off)
plastic tubs filled with rice or plastic easter eggs
a big plastic box filled snow(if you get snow)
blue jean legs that have been cut off(they make great tunnels)
dryer hoses
black drainage pipes.

Here's Another Suggestion!!

Another suggestion is to make a "dig box" Ferrets seem to LOVE playing and hiding in them!!

**You can use a variety of fillers such as shredded paper (not news paper though, uncooked white rice, corn cob litter (not if you use it in your litter box though), non-styrofoam packing peanuts.
**For the box you can either use a large cardboard box with a hole cut in it or a large plastic tote.
**You can leave the top open or closed, but if you keep it closed then cut a hole in the side for them to get in and out.

Here is a picture of mine: I used a plastic storage tote, filled with shredded paper (old bills ), cut a hole in the side and used duct tape to cover the edges of the hole that was cut.
I found this to be the least messy and easiest to clean up when they are done playing.
