Another suggestion is to make a "dig box" Ferrets seem to LOVE playing and hiding in them!!
**You can use a variety of fillers such as shredded paper (not news paper though, uncooked white rice, corn cob litter (not if you use it in your
litter box though), non-styrofoam packing peanuts.
**For the box you can either use a large
cardboard box with a hole cut in it or a large plastic tote.
**You can leave the top open or closed, but if you keep it closed then cut a hole in the side for them to get in and out.
Here is a picture of mine: I used a plastic storage tote, filled with shredded paper (old bills

), cut a hole in the side and used duct tape to cover the edges of the hole that was cut.
I found this to be the least messy and easiest to clean up when they are done playing.
