Newbie's Ferret Pics

Hi everyone. This is my first day on your forum. So far, I really like it. I just wanted to share a couple pics of my fuzzbutts.

This is DixieBelle:

And this one is Ginger with my cat, Emily:

And this is Ginger with my housedog Rosie:

I also have 6 other dogs who live outside; Kelly (Australian Shep.), Paco & Buddy (chihuahuas), Cracker (a pitbull? mix terrior), and Spook (a doodle). And I mustn't forget the fishtank and the bettas. lol
Hope you enjoy these pics, as I certainly like looking at yours. Ellen

Welcome to PT Ellen!!

Your babies are adorable!! DixieBelle reminds me of my first ferret Sissy (she is at the rainbow bridge now)... and I think I will just borrow Ginger for a while!! I have always wanted a dark eyes white! Have you have any problems with Ginger's hearing? I know they (dew's) are often prone to deafness.

How old are your girls? I can't wait to hear more about them!

They are really noce pics. Very cute fuzzies too.
You Chi looks terrified. Is she used to the ferrets?
My dogs don't like them much. The big dogs, Mastiffs, are scared of them and the JRT's would probably eat them if we let them.
MY cats are great with the ferrets though.
Mind you our cats play with a hamster and don't hurt her. In fact Linford, the hamster, chases the cats.

Ha! Well actually, she was more surprised than anything. That was Ginger's first day, and Rosie wasn't sure what to expect from her. They are all good friends now (except when DixieBelle insists on crawling under Rosie's blanket with her.) When they are let out to play, Rosie frequently goes over to each of them and kisses them on the nose.
