Stinky the Ferret

We lost our Stinky in the night last night. After coming off his trial medication, he took a turn for the worst, and lost a lot of wheight. The vet and I just could not bring him back.

We have tears letting him go but do not be sad for us or him. He got to be out of a cage and know what playing was like. He got to know what having a furo brother and sister was like. And he got to know what being held and kissed and loved was like. And now I'm sure in my heart he's somewhere over rainbow bridge. Not stiff, or sick, but finally able to do the things he wasn't phisically able to do here.

I am glad stinky is in a better place. I am sory for your loss, even when it is the best thing for them, it still hurts.
