tycor2328 is on a distinguished road
I have a question- I have a 7-8 week old baby that has taken a habit to sucking on my other ferret's ear before he falls asleep. The other ferret doesn't seem to upset with the hole situation, but its making me wonder if the baby was separated from his mother too early. He was rather small compared to the other ferrets when I got him from the pet store. Has anyone seen this behavior before?- will it stop?- is there any evidence of growth problems when being seperated too early? Please let me know if you have any ideas. I appreciate it!!!

You have nothing to worry about Tycor
This is a normal bonding behavior that many young ferrets do.
In time it will stop. As long as the other ferret isn't having a problem with it I wouldn't worry about it too much
