can hedgies change colors?

oreo was darker when i first got him, and now as he is quilling he seems to be turning browner rather than black. do hedgies quills change colors?

hedgies can change colors when they are quilling, mine used to be darker and now he is way lighter!!

My hedgie is getting more white on him i think. It looks really cool!
