can't reach me now mom

I removed Widget's igloo to check on her. Took her shirt away even... she immediately got ip & gobbled up some food & water then looked at me like it was time to play. I went to reach for her & she ran for the tube that connects her main living quarters & her bathroom...

thanks guys! I am wondering if the reason she wasn't eating as much is she was far to cozy in her t-shirt?? cause I took it out last night & she was up eating as if she was starving! could she have been getting stuck in there? anyway I think I am gonna buy a baby receiving blanket for her instead that way I know she can't get stuck or hung up on anything.

That's a good idea. Just make sure it doesn't have any threads she can get her little feeties caught on. A lot of people use Velux in their hedgie cages or fleece. I use fleece...all my hedgie bags are fleece & the blanket on top is fleece.

They love to cuddle up in something soft! Kinda funny for such pokey little guys!!

AWW Fsty Those are great! It looks like she looks so happy in those pics to be with you! Yah, fleece is a good idea. I use some REALLY soft cotton pillow cases(they work fine) But i am getting some fleece for the winter since it will be colder.
