At one hedgie site that I go to, sometimes they call them Pogs... I thought that was cute

Pogs is pretty common (coined by Tig Means-Burleson) and baby hedgehogs are known as poglets ;-)

A group of hedgehogs is called a whump by many fanciers.

I sometimes call mine the hedge-a-ma-roos... but mostly hedgies.
