Hey
I was just wondering how many people here own a hog at the time. It jsut seems like there arnt that many people who do?

Have wanted one for a few years but have decided that until find the house of our dreams and have a animal room I will stick with my chinnies and Richardsons ground squirrels(2).

I really wanted one, but the more I read up on them, the more I think they might be a little too tough for me to keep, especially with the temp requirements  Maybe someday if we ever live where there's normal weather, lol.

I have one male hedgie, Grover, that I just adore. He's pretty friendly and will run to the side of his cage when he hears my voice. He LOVES to be held but I think he enjoys chewing on my shirts more than the actual holding/petting part.  |

AW! neither of my girls like to chew on anything..or annoint! ive only seen them do it once or twice. Are there any pics of your Grover boy on the forum??I WANNA SEE!!hehehe

Louie is a cutie.I don't own any hedgie's but a petshop I know asked me if I would raise them for her if she got me a pair.Of course I had to say no.

Louie is pretty "anti-social". It seems like he just tolerates us. But he's so fun to watch & fairly easy to care for. It's really funny to watch him run!!

There are a couple pics here They aren't the best but I think he still looks cute in them. 
I think he tries to annoint with EVERYTHING he comes in contact with. If he's running around on the floor he'll chew at the carpet a little then spit on himself (as I like to call it!  ) One time he found a piece of chinnie poop and annointed with that.  |
