Hedgie safe Paint?

I'm re-decorating my room and it would look very cool if Oreo's cage could match my color scheme. Is there a paint that I could use to paint his cage that won't harm him? Is just basic acryllic paint ok?

Why not paint the room to match the cage?

Will the paint be on the outside or on the inside of the cage? I dont think it would be a good idea to paint his cage

It would just be on the outside of the pan, on the bottom, its just really loud, bright, blue. There was something somewhere, where a lady metioned what kind of paint to use to decorate pvc pipes for your hedgie, but i haven't been able to find it since! and millime- I don't think bright blue is the best color for a room, lol, but ya never know! Maybe, i'll just cover the pan outside with a cute fabric! that might work. what da ya think?

I would go along with material on the bottom of the cage, it can be changed as you want.

I think that it would be fine on the outside, as long as it is non toxic!

My room is light blue. Fabric sounds cute, though.
