I need to brag!
I do believe that I have the sweetest little hedgie in the world! He immediately comes out of his house when he hears my voice and jumps right into my hand. Oh, I'm in love. Karmen, one of my prairie dogs is a bit jealous and so is my eldest male chinchilla Dozer, but I've been making sure everyone gets extra attention so they don't feel left out. Sheesh, if I get one more pet I'll have to quit my job and just sit home all the time and snuggle and play with everyone. LOL I tried to cheat and let the prairie dogs out the same time one of my chinnies was out and they tried to go to war over who gets to sit on my lap. So needless to say, only one species can be out at a time.

I still haven't thought of a name but I think I'm leaning toward Henry the 9th (as in the 9th animal to take up residence in the room)

Cute LOL
Have you thought about other alternatives to the number 9?
noveno- 9th in spanish
Neunt - 9th in German
nono - 9th in Italian
Enin - Nine spelt backwards

Where are the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I am dying to see this little guy! I am so happy you got him and glad he is doing so well. Just on word of caution - as I have found with most hedgies make sure you wash your hands if you have eaten anything before picking up your hedgie you will get completely slobered on and might receive a little chomp too LOL!

Dena, I started a new thread with the pics.
It's so hard not to run in there and grab him right now. He sleeps all day and I don't want to keep bugging him, but he's so darn cute and sweet!:hershey:

Thanks! I was holding him tonight and he kept running up to my face and would lick me. That little bugger is quick! Karmen and Kasey totally gave me the "brush off" when I went to snuggle with them afterwards. Poor girls.....hopefully the sibling rivalry will end soon.

Ok, I THINK I may have a name picked out.......drum roll please......GROVER!
I hope it's not this difficult for me to pick a name when I have human kids! My kids will be 2 years old before they're named. LOL
