The Third Annual Iola Hedgehog Fest is swiftly approaching!
This fun-filled event will take place on March 29th and 30th in Iola, KS. On the 29th, we will have two IHA sanctioned shows in one day, as well as some informative seminars (one will be basic care, other topics TBA). All show entries are free! The only limitation on showing is that hedgies be in good health.
We are also sponsoring an educational display contest, so please put together a poster, diorama, or any kind of display to cover any hedgie topic you find of interest (for example: basic care, behavior, common ailments, how to give a bath or trim toenails, activities your hedgie engages in, and so on!). We have inexperienced and experienced attendees, so displays can aim to educate at any level of expertise!
After the show, we host a pot-luck in our home so that everyone has a chance to socialize and talk lots of hedgie talk! We will have a few select vendors set up during the pot luck =)
Sunday's events will include several seminars and an IHA general meeting.
