Pros: Quiet (unless you have a squeaky wheel), no body odor, they are very smart and most are very social when handled alot, initial set up is usually inexpensive if you buy a LARGE sterilite container not an aquarium.
Cons: poopy feet, not exactly a soft cuddly pet (but mine likes to snuggle in my shirt and watch tv), finding a place that supplies mealworms and waxworms (very few places in my area that does).
I'm sure I can think of more but my brain is fried after a long day at work.
hm...Well, they are Nocturnal, so this to your brother could be etiher a Pro or Con, depending on when he is usualy awake.
They have to be fed High quality food, and is sometimes hard to find in some areas(like where i live!) And they need fresh fruits/cooked meats and stuff everyday.
Pro- They are just so darn cute!hehee there are more, ubt im too tired to think right now...
