Great pics of your baby hedgehogs, my college is thinking of becoming involved with looking after hedgehogs but im not sure what their doing so far because it would be nice to get some wildlife at the college .

I've only ever seen 1 actual baby hedgehog, when 1 came into the vets not long ago and i have held and looked after an adult hedgehog for a couple of days before, then i had to re-release them back into the fields across from my house .

They're gorgeous!! Sooo cute!!

And yes, you can keep hedgehogs here in England - someone on a fancy rat forum I go on has them.

I've seen a lot of 'hedgies alive and well in the wild around here - some seem totally unbothered by people, or at least they're cheeky enough to hunt for food in back gardens regardless of people being around or not.

Not that long ago we found a young one late afternoon time sitting in the middle of the road! He must've been crossing and got scared and curled up in a ball. So I gently scooped him up and took him to the other side, and he scuttled off into the undergrowth.
