poopie toes

Oreo steps in his poo all the time. His little toes always get covered in poo, and its hard to get off! Do you all have this issue too? Is there anything I can do to stop it? He poos while i'm sleeping , so I can't clean it up before he steps in it.He's so messy, but but he's too cute to get mad at.lol

I don't know of anyway to prevent poop boots. With my little guy, I take a washcloth and get it soaking wet with some warm water. I then place it in my small bathroom sink and allow Thorn (my hedgie) to walk all over it. This usually does the trick in just a few minutes and isn't as stressful as a bath.

We use a shallow plastic lid from a old bowl, fill it with warm water and let them walk through it then wipe their feet clean.

Poop boots LOL

Ah yes, the hedgie poop boots. There really isn't a way to avoid it, it's just a part of hedgie life. I'm able to handle Louie a lot and he lets me clean his little feeties with a warm washcloth. We also do just a shallow bath more often than the *full* bath.
