How much hay, in a week, do you provide your prairie dog?

How much hay do you waste per week?

I have 2 pd's and give them 2 LARGE handfuls of hay everyday. I think they waste about half of it on a daily basis.

Ummm... I need to reduce the amount of hay I provide LOL... Rosie wastes so much hay and I obviously waste so much money

I know the feeling Wendy, but the awesome little burrows they build with it are well worth the wasted money.

I feel guilty every time I clean the cage and have to destroy their little nest/burrow. The one they built about a month ago was enormous. I felt so bad cleaning the cage but I couldn't let them live in a dirty cage!
