Hello Prairie Dog People!!!

Hello Everyone!!

I'm new to Paw-Talk, my name is Erika and I have two wonderful prairie dog girls named Precious & Peanut, and we are all from Illinois. I got my girls in 2000, and I also had a male named Bubba-Bear, but he was becoming VERY aggressive (even after him being neutered) with my girls and myself, that I had to find him a home. He now lives with Pat and he is having a great time with his prairie dog brother. Prairie dogs are just the best little babes in the world, they are little humans with fur all over!!! It just amazes me how they can show their feelings unlike anything I can describe, especially when they "Yahoo", my heart just melts!!! We hope to make lots of "prairie dog friends" here. Aren't pd's the best pets ever? I just love mine! No matter how difficult my day is I know I can always get my girls out and snuggle away the stress.

Great website! Pups are cuties! Are they Spring 2001 pups? Seems like Peanut's a popular name for the girls! We call her Princess Peanut Butter Von Chickenheart. She's the most skittish of the 3 - she sets up the alarm calls while the boys sit downstairs and hide! Houston is the head of cage security with visitors. Dallas is head of smiles. He smiles and Yahoos at everyone.
