I got Karmen on May 5th of last year. I had researched prairie dogs for 2 months or more before deciding to get one. I had Karmen for about a week and decided I HAD to get another one. I made arrangements from the same person and picked up Kasey. I think Karmie and I bonded more because she had to soley depend on me for the first 2 weeks. Kasey had Karmen to depend on, so she didn't bond as closely to me. All in all though, I love both of them to pieces and wouldn't trade them for a million dollars, and I mean that sincerely!

It's hard to take pics of them because they always try to climb ON the camera. I'll try to get my mom to take pics while I hold them still (hold still isn't really in their vocabulary, but most of the time they'll snuggle right in for the first few minutes I'm holding them).
