Unhappy

Oddies is sick , help !!

Last night about 8 pm Oddies was laying with me on a big pillow and I noticed something black on the pillow . I picked up Oddies and he was on him too . He has diarrhea with a tiny spot of blood in it . I watched him most of the night , til I feel asleep on the floor next to his cage . This morning he is very slow at moving around . Did I do a NO-NO yesterday , I gave him a piece of apple . Someone help me , I just can't loose Oddie , my heart could not take it . Connie

Do you have a vet that you can take him to?

What does his poop look like today? Is it loose? How big was the piece of apple you gave him? It may just have upset his tummy a little. If you notice he has blood in his poop today, I would take him to the vet just to be safe.

Thumbs up

Update

Oddie is great , Back to normal . He is playing and running all over the place . I spoke with Bingle Veterinary Hospital in Houston and the Dr told me that the apple I gave him most likely caused the problem . It was the first time Oddie ever had apples. The Dr said the piece I gave him was to big . I was told the next time I give him something new in his diet to give Oddie a smaller pieces until he is use to it . Also told me that if he starts acting slow or sleepy to get him to the Dr asap . Connie
