What a doll! We're going to another bird and exotics show the first part of February - first place we had ever seen prairie dogs before. Bubba came thisclose to buying one - but we came to our senses and walked around and talked about it a bit and decided that we'd better wait on that one! But they were so cute and so loveable!
Do they stay friendly? These you could hold, hug, snuggle. We both wondered if the adults were the same way.

Critter, usually if they are snuggly to begin with and you continue to give them alot of attention, then they'll be snuggly as adults. I was able to let my first one, Karmen, pick me and she is my little cuddle bug. My second one, Kasey, was picked out for me (she didn't get to pick me) and she's a little more timid and only wants to cuddle when SHE chooses.
They get a little moody around rut season but usually not too bad.

If that's the Exotic Show in Tampa - be careful. Pups are vacuum caught. Also spay/neuters on those poor pups is not done right
If you really want a healthy one - go to Betsy Callis in NC. She will have Lynda Watson Humane Capture pups. The Texas Trio are from there. They are awesome!!!!!!!!!

I'm not familiar with the Tampa show, but thanks for the warning. The show I went to was in Deland, which is just a bit North of Orlando.
