Question

One or two

I have only had my baby for a few weeks but he is a love. I never really thought that a PD could be such a loving animal . I grew up in Houston Texas and they are all over the northern areas and we always hear they were pest . How stupid I was the think what was writing , was correct . Is it better to have one or two ? Do they do better when they have another PD to play with ? Connie

I think it mostly depends on how much time you have to spend with your PD. I think like any social animal, if you have a good bit of time, you can be a great companion. If you don't have so much time, you might look at two so they can keep each other company while you're gone.

Jade is right. If you have lots of time to spend with him, then he should be fine. If you don't have loads of time to spend with him, then by all means, get another one.

I started off with one and decided within a week that I wanted another one. I'm very glad that I have the second, not only for extra companionship for my first pd, but they are so much fun to watch interacting and playing!

I have two girls. I started out with a boy named Bubba-Bear then I got Precious to keep him company. Well they just did not get along at all. Bubba-Bear was VERY aggressive towards Precious and myself, so I had to find him loving home. Now I have Precious and Peanut. They get along, but Peanut is very shy and timid, and Precious wants all the attention from me!!! They are just little crazy stinkers. It's always better to have more them one
