PD Rescue in Southern GA?

Hello Everyone. I am new to the site and was wondering if anyone knows of any places in GA, particularly in Southern GA, that has PD rescues or has any information about adoptions? Obviously this would be local since you can't transport PDs across state lines. Any help or possible links/connections would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you're not likely to get many results unless you google it. it's illegal to own pd's in the USA so we dont' talk about it much

I believe it's possible to adopt one already in captivity, but I think you have to have a USDA license to do so, AND they have to approve the transfer at the federal level, but I've been led to believe that they almost never will.

How Incredibly Sad

I was hoping that after all this time, that the ban would have been lifted, allowing these innocent and beautiful creatures to find good homes.

Does anyone know of the process for petitioning or getting our voices heard on this issue? I'm sure most here would be willing to do more than just yap about it.
