Question

several questions

I have several questions so i decided to do them all together .

1. Oddie is always playing with newspaper, will the ink hurt him?
2. How do I stop him from destroying my carpet ? He has already graced me with several spots in my carpet that he has pulled out all of the carpet.
3. Can PD's have "yogurt drops" ? I seen some for rabbits and I have some for my sugarglider.

Thanks for the help, Connie

I don't think the ink would harm him, but I would stay away from the colored advertisement sections.

I don't think there's too much you can do to stop him from tearing up the carpet. PDs dig, it's a natural thing. Keep a close eye on him and tell him "NO", but I think it's going to be hard to stop that habit completely.

I wouldn't give him the yogurt drops because I believe they have a high sugar content. One every other week or so shouldn't be too big of a deal, but I definitley wouldn't make it a daily treat.

Hope this helps.

Wendy is on a distinguished road
Stay away from the chocolate altogether, he's not going to miss something he's never had, so don't create a bad habit.

As with the carpet, not only do you have the problem with him destroying it, carpet threads can cause serious harm to animals if ingested and caught round toes.

I assuming when she says "yogurt drops" they are the colored drop type rabbit treats. If they are indeed chocolate, then yes, Wendy is correct....stay completely away from them.
