food bowl is suggies toilette - Paw Talk

I wake up to find that both of my male suggies have 'pottied' in thier food bowl.

I don't see why it would hurt, they've already ate it but I was wondering if it might mean that they have a complaint, haha.

Any suggestions?

No suggestion can fix this issue...... it is their way and they will cont' to do it for as long as they desire - just like were a dog will or will not go. Just think some even eat it - yuck.

One of my three SG does the same thing from time to time.

had a thought maybe they do that to say "hey thats mine don't tough"
like when animals mark thier territory

Usually you can fix this problem by having a high shelf in the cage and keeping food dishes up high. If it doesn't elimiinate the problem it will definitely cut it down

I has NEVER worked for my three gliders, but maybe it will work for someone else.

We feed our two gliders on the floor of their cages. Usually, they eat as soon as the food is presented, or within the next hour or so. In the morning, I often find feces on the plates, but that's after a night of them playing overhead, so it's not unexpected. Doesn't sound like a cause for worry.
