I need instruction. flying squirrel cage

Does anyone have any insturctions on how to build a nice home for a southern flying squirrel?? I want to make sure I have a good home before I get one.

well i'm not sure how big their cages should be, but the bigger the better. you can go to home depot and get metal ell bars. then garden caging and bolts and wing nuts and you should be good to go! otherwise to buy theres the ferret nation cage that is to die for!

southern flying squirrel cages should be fairly large. i have one that's four feet tall and two feet wide & long. just make sure the wire spacing is no more than 1/2" or they'll escape!
