Aw, they're gorgeous!! I love meerkats - they're so funny and sweet. I love the way they live in a 'society' and all look out for each other, even doing babysitting, lol!

They are also very smart. In the wild they quickly figure out which photographers and naturalists are harmless, and they then climb all over their equipment - smart animals are curious.

In one of the photos they are looking at the zoo keeper bringing food. If he was not a NEW guy (I asked about this) there, the regular one was off that day, they would not have hid from him.
