hey rav does your green bottle blue ever dissappear for like a week and a half with no sign of him at all? =( i'm worried about mine i hope he isn't dead
Its not uncommon for most species to hide when they're getting ready to molt... I rarely ever see my Usambara baboon or my Goliath. All they do is hide, and if set up properly, that is how it should be.

In his cage. I assume he's not going to molt because he molted about a month and a half ago. i dunno it feels like theres something in there when i lightly poke around with the dull end of a pencil.
Akasha, it seems to me that it has been longer than that since he last moulted. I'm almost positive it is a moult. 95% certain. He's a juvenile. Expect erratic moults! It's probably the empty shell your poking with that pencil, and your probably freakin' him out in doing so! I am not worried, and I boarded Milhouse for a long time, so I do care about the little guy. I'm just not worried.
Rav, what's the difference between your Brazilian Giant White Knee and the Skeleton tarantula? I know it has white knees and the skeleton does not, but underneath they both appear to have the same white "bone" pattern, aswell as same colouring overall. Does the Brazilian Giant White Knee get bigger than the Skeleton T?
The white knee does get bigger, and they are completely different species... not having had a skeleton, I can't really comment on the tempermental or environmental differences, but here's a pic of my white knee for you to compare to your skeleton.
