Well, her name is Gnomey, because for some reason I think she looks kinda like a little gnome-critter. She's super nice, never has tried to bite me. Her club-tail is used in the wild to store fat and water, since they're desert critters. (Duprasi are nicknamed 'fat tailed gerbil'.) She's pretty active, you can tell from the pictures, she likes to scitter around. I got her from the Chicagoland Family Pet Expo, along with a care sheet (though I've known a lot about them for a long time) and a cardboard tube came with her, too. Personally, I think they're sort of crosses between hamsters and gerbils. They seem a lot like hamsters in their manner, and chunky like hamsters too, but they LOVE to chew cardboard and plastic, like gerbils.
