Feline Pine in bunny litterboxes

I ran out of Carefresh so I thought I would give Feline Pine a try for my buns litterbox. I use it for my kitties and I really like how it controls the smell! It seems to work much better than Carefresh and lasts longer too. Its also less expensive and you can buy it in a huge bag. The House Rabbit Society says that it is totally safe and for rabbits, it will not cause liver damage like most wood shavings. I put hay on top since my buns aren't used to it and so far its been a big success. The smell is so much better! Just wanted to share this with the PT rabbit lovers in case anyone wants to try a new litter!

Thanks for the info.
I use Fussypus cat litter in my rabbits littertray. He's an Angora and when we bought him we were advised to use it, instead of shaings and it's been great.

Hmm...I may have to try it...Lucky Jack would kick all the Carefresh out of the litter pan and then poo and pee in the empty pan He doesn't seem to kick out the aspen (which I was assured was bun safe) but if something else will also work and control the odor, I'm all for giving it a whirl!

Your welcome! Its awesome at controlling odor. My fiance' used to complain about the smell ALL the time! Now he doesn't say anything. It will last even longer if you put hay on top to help keep the dust in the box (the pellets turn to sawdust when they get wet). The buns like to eat the hay too while they go LOL.
