Got a Question
I have a question, Akina has been not having as much water as usual, I put in a bowl today to see a difference if she wanted the bowl. Is it just because of the extra fresh veggies I am giving her? she is eating fine and acting normally...hm mm...

If she's acting normally then yeah, it's probably just the extra veggies . I've noticed that my rabbits drink more water if they don't get as many vegetables as usual (such as the day before I buy veggies and I have like nothing left).

yeah, its prolly cuz of the veggies, but if you can, you should leave the bowl of water for her, ive noticed hoppity is lazy, and would much rather drink out of a bowl than put any effort into getting getting water from a bottle
and Akina looks comfy up on her pedestal

Thanks I thought it may have been the extra veggies, but had to make sure She is such a spoiled bunny!! She has the entire room to herself but I am wanting to build one like this as she is a spoiled brat and loves chewing up the walls..NOT GOOD when renting!! She has lots of wood chews but love the wall...mainly the door. So I am thinking on building something similar to this (but wider) as it will be big enough for her and she wont chew up the walls and still have a big area...THEN we can take down the baby gate...lol!! Easier access...

We have a great enclosure for our buns. I don't close the door anymore though. But if they keep up misbehaving I am going to!
She is such a cutie. I just love that dewlap. Oh and if you are worried about the water you can always give her wet veggies. That will help her get more water too.
PS - make sure you make the sides much higher than the picture. That one looks like it's for guinea pigs.
